Hannah Montana Concerts: Some Helpful Tips

Thankfully, one of those Hannah Montana concerts is arriving town. But before you start celebrating, you should know that the phenomenal success of this Disney Channel TV series about a 14 year old girl who leads a double life as a regular kid by day and as a pop superstar by night, without anyone knowing except her family and a friend, has made getting a ticket a near-impossibility. This has been going on for two years now and there seems to be no signs suggesting that this Hanna Montana fever is subsiding yet.

However, this should not be a reason why you should let your kid (who is so excited about this Hannah Montana concert all she talks about is going) be left out. This could be one of those most memorable gifts you could give her. This could be one of the most memorable concerts you would attend, too!

TICKETS

Not only tickets are difficult to come by, they could become very expensive if you buy them from alternative sources. Scalpers are getting rich from ticket sales, and bidding on e-Bay could make you shell out $800 to $1000 for each ticket! We know of several (note: several—not a few!) Moms who would log-in to Ticketmaster several times a day just to see “sold-out” notices each time. This could easily become a reason to forego attending one of those Hannah Montana concerts, but your child’s anticipation is just too much to ignore. You end up diligently logging in daily for weeks hoping for a break.

TIP:

Never lose hope. OK, you continue with your daily quest for tickets for Hannah Montana concerts, but you might be pleasantly surprised to know that ticket availability would usually surface with Ticketmaster a day before the concert. And you get them at face value!

GOING TO HANNAH MONTANA CONCERTS

It would be better if you bring cash for souvenir items. You would love to see the way your child’s face (happy as it is) beam some more as she gets one of those souvenir items like Hannah Montana T-shirts, books, tote bags, etc. Don’t forget to bring your child’s Miley World membership card. Members get raffle stubs that could win her some premium items while non-members get raffle stubs for slightly different items.

BLOCK PARTY: GET TO THE CONCERT A FEW HOURS EARLIER

This could be one of the coolest part of the Hannah Montana concerts as your child could join a party, usually hosted by one of the actual casts of the TV series. Be sure she memorized most of the songs of Hannah Montana (as if there’s anybody who doesn’t!) so she could join the fun karaoke contest featuring Hannah Montana songs. Being at the concert site earlier would also afford you and your child a lot of photo opportunities. Who knows, you might even catch some of the cast—or Hannah Montana herself!

THE DAY AFTER

One very important thing: make a deal with your child that she must get up for school the following day, despite sleeping late because of the concert. More often than not, your kid would be more than willing to go as she would be very excited to share her experience and show off some stuff she got from attending one of those Hannah Montana concerts.
