Father-Daughter Duo Lead Hannah Montana Cast

Miley Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus) stars as Hannah Montana, the blonde pop star that is the alter-ego of Miley Stewart, the “normal” girl next door. The main story line of Hannah Montana is that Miley Stewart also leads a secret life as the pop-superstar everyone is crazy about. Miley who hails from Tennessee, is now adapting to a new life in Malibu and adjust to a new lifestyle as she meets new friends (and enemies) at Seaview Middle School. The real-life Miley really grew up in Tennesse and she has to move to California, when she bagged the lead role among Hannah Montana cast, to be closer to work as Hannah Montana is being filmed at the Tribune Studios in nearby sunset boulevard.

Playing the lead among the Hannah Montana cast, Miley’s singing talents are put to good use as she plays Hannah Montana’s persona who is a great singing superstar in the story. She was trained by her Nashville superstar Dad as a country singer.

Miley was born November 23, 1992 in Nashville Tennessee. Her real nickname is “Smiley” as she was always smiling. This became the basis of her screen-name “Miley.” She first appeared in “Doc,” a TV medical series produced by her father.

She first appeared as the character Hannah Montana in the Disney Channel TV series “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.” That Hannah Montana character became so popular that Disney Channel executives decided to create a new show about, who else, “Hannah Montana.”

Billy Ray Cyrus, the real-life Dad of the lead character Miley Cyrus,stars as Robbie Stewart, Miley’s/Hannah’s father. He is a devoted father/mother who, in one episode, was known to have sacrificed his music career to be able to really take care of his children, Miley and Jackson. He is characterized in this film as a strict but loving parent, very traditional but hip, and a loving and caring father.

HANNAH MONTANA CAST OF CHARACTERS

Mitchel Musso plays one of Miley’s friend, Oliver Oken. He is the cool and wacky lover boy of Seaview Middle School. He is infatuated with Hannah Montana and he worships her. He does all crazy things just to be close to Hannah. This includes sneaking into her dressing room.

Emily Jordan Osment plays Hannah Montana’s best friend Lilly Turscott. Part of the Hannah Montana cast as Lilly, she acts as a great friend who is zany, loud and energetic. She could always be loud and fun but she could be trouble backstage. Miley loves helping and keeping Lilly. Hannah has to keep her out of trouble.

Jason Daniel Earles plays Hannah’s brother Jackson. The craziest among the Hannah Montana cast, to the point of being annoying sometimes. He does nothing better than ask money from Dad Robbie, trying all sorts of failing schemes to impress girls, and making life difficult for the rest of the Hannah Montana cast. Otherwise, Jackson is an adorable brother.

The Hannah Montana cast represent the crop of kids that parents could feel safe having their children watch and follow as they rise to stardom.
