A College Education, Or The Canon 60d Price
One thing you should know is that the Canon 60d is a great camera for the price. Why is this? I will tell you, and give you the Canon 60d price with a cool price compression.
The crazy thing is that digital cameras can get really expensive. Do you know that you could get a good education for the price of a DSLR? The camera I’m talking about is the awesome, but expensive H4D-60 Hasselblad. $43,000: that’s right, you can get it for the price of a brand new car. This is not a full frame camera. What you do get is a whopping 60 mega-pixel sensor! The Canon 60d price is a long way from $43,000.
The Hasselblad is high-tech extraordinaire.
Has technology really changed the basic theory of photography? Not really, but a lot of new cameras have the tendency to make photography more about the camera and less about the end result. What’s the end result for the incredibly low Canon 60d price? Fantastic!
It boils down to the fact that picture quality does not necessarily mean you have to buy the most expensive camera in the world. I do most of my best work in camera, using my knowledge of photography, not necessarily using all the technology bells and whistles, and fancy post-production software. I’ve seen some of the best shots done on the cheapest cameras. Photography is great when the photographer has a good eye, which means he is living in the moment and capturing the moment. Another important thing is the actually lens you are using.
If you try and put a cheapo lens on expensive cameras like the Hasselblad you will probably get and bad end result. One big reason not to use plastic kit lenses, and cheap glass on DSLRs is that these big sensors will show all the imperfections in the glass.
Believe me when I say you can take a bad shot with any camera.
Do not buy an expensive body, and then cheap out and get a bad lens. Will you be able to buy a good lens? Yes, considering the Canon 60d price. Get prime lenses. They are the fastest, the more light let in means the lower you can go with your ISO. In the end if you put the images of high-end DSLRS beside the Canon 60d would you be able to tell the difference? I seriously doubt it.
The Canon 60d price is unbeatable. So here is the price difference (Prices may very):
The most expensive Canon you can buy is the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III (body only) $6,999) + EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM ($11,999) = $18, 998.
Get the 5d, which is a full frame camera for: $2,269.95
The Canon 7d costs $1,442.95, and uses the APS-C senor, another good deal
And the best deal in town: the Canon 60d price, with APS-C sensor size, is $999.95
I love the 60d sensor because of its characteristics. Depth of field characteristics are similar to 35mm film with the APS-C sensor size being very similar to Super 35mm film movie frame size. If you want to shoot with a full frame, and an APS-C sensor camera go ahead, the end result is the same, they integrate well. Buy full frame lenses so if you upgrade latter to the 5d you can use these lenses on them.
The 60d is better for shooting video. Why? It has a flip out LCD monitor, makes low and high angles a breeze to shoot. The 60d also uses the same sensor as the 7d but is 500 dollars less You can not beat the Canon 60d price. Read a great Canon 60d Review, and see some stuff shot on the 60d.
